Am I really locked in the room?

For safety, our doors are never locked, and you can leave the game at any time. That makes escaping from an unlocked room a pretty boring objective, so you will find all our games are mission-based, where you and your team must find a specific item or complete a specific task to win!

Are there any age requirements?

Yes. Children 10 - 15 years old must be accompanied in the room by a parent. All players under 17 years old must have a parent sign them in and sign a waiver either online or on site. Children under 10 are welcome with their families if it’s a private game. These games are meant for 10 and up. All ticket prices are set at the same price as well.

Are the games physical?

You won't be training for the Olympics, but you should be prepared to move around while in the game as you search for clues.

Can I book a time that is not listed on the website?

Absolutely! If you want to have a private event at Missing Pieces, such as a birthday party or corporate event, just email or call, and we will work with you to schedule your experience.

How many people do I need to play?

Diamond Dilemma and Ruin Raiders hold up to 8 players each. Cuckoo’s Clock holds 10. Final Frontier holds 8 and, as it is our hardest room, requires 4 or more players.

I have less than 8 players but don't want to be paired with others, what do I do?

There’s no need to worry all of our games are privatized. Meaning you just need to book with whoever you want with you. There will be no random people joining you.

Are walk-ins welcome?

Because our games book out in advance, walk-ins are not recommended. To ensure we have availability for you and your group, it's best to book online in advance. However, if you are in the area and want to see if we happen to have any openings, feel free to drop by and we will do our best to accommodate you!

What is your cancellation/refund policy?

Plans change, we get that. Cancellations a minimum of 48 hours prior to your game time will be fully refunded. Within 48 hours we can move your reservation to a time that fits your schedule or offer you credit to play another time. We will try and work with anything you need!

How long does the game last?

Please arrive 15 minutes before game time for brief instructions. You will be given 60 minutes to complete the game.

Do I need to bring anything with me in order to play the game?

Everything needed to play the game is provided, just bring your friends and your puzzle-solving skills.
